If you want to study ESL in Canada, travel to Niagara Falls and Toronto, and experience an extended Algonquin Park canoe trip, then we have the ESL program for you. Our ESL school provides an all inclusive language school adventure not offered by conventional Toronto ESL schools or Canadian ESL schools.

Algonquin Adventure Tours provides students with a life changing program that combines intensive English Language study with certified teachers, canoe camping in Algonquin Park, and guided travel to Canada's greatest tourist attractions.

Upon completion of your ESL Travel Adventure, all students are guaranteed to improve their English and achieve a basic level of proficiency in canoeing, swimming, horse back riding, and wilderness camping skills. A guided nine day canoe camping trip, Niagara Falls visit and tours of Toronto provide memories that will last a lifetime.

Although our staff is capable of communicating in many student languages, the entire program is English immersion. Minimal prior knowledge of English is expected. And most importantly, students should have a desire to improve their abilities. Participants will receive a course certificate, during our final evening awards ceremony.

What's Included?

• 12 nights accommodation (supervised for youth) - 8 nights canoe camping in Algonquin Provincial Park and 4 nights in downtown Toronto.
• 13 days of fun adventures and personal development.
• All meals from arrival to departure.
  
• English language instruction - 25 program hours (2.5 hrs. x 10  days). All study materials are included. Oral and written interview before camp will determine group level. Teacher/student ratio never more than 10:1. All teachers are native English speakers, certified school teachers and have security clearance.

• Canoe/kayak - personal flotation devices are provided. Experienced Instructor.
  
• Horse back riding - guide and helmet is provided.

• Hammocks - everyone gets their own hammock to use
  
• Camp fires - with roasted marshmallows.
  
• Wilderness skills training - shelter, tools and fire building, food and water resources, harmony with nature and leave no trace.
  
• Algonquin Park canoe trip - 9 day guided voyage into Canada's oldest provincial park. All gear is included.
  
• Field games - Food Chain (which herbivore, omnivore or carnivore will survive the longest), scavenger hunt and team building challenges.

• Toronto - Eaton Center, CN Tower (trip to the lookout included), and a guided city tour.

Please note the following: On day 1, students will be greeted at the Pearson International Airport and shuttled to our Toronto accommodation. Youth students will be supervised, at all times, by Algonquin Adventure Tours staff. After breakfast on our final day, students flying home will be shuttled to the airport and assisted with check-in. Those who are remaining in Canada may remain in the hotel until 11am.

Accommodations

For eight nights on your Algonquin Park canoe trip, the tranquility of primitive back country camping with modern equipment will be enjoyed. Sleeping bags with liners and tents organized by gender are provided.

For the other four nights of your adventure, shared accommodation in spectacular downtown Toronto is provided.

Food

During the canoe trip, Canadian favorites will be served. All other meals will be provided in interesting and delicious restaurants that demonstrate the multicultural diversity of Canada. Any allergies or restrictions should be detailed in your registration form. Vegetarians and non-pork eaters can be accommodated.

Price

$2399(CDN)+13% tax. This includes everything during your stay in Canada. There are no extra charges. You might want to bring some spending money for souvenirs. Participants must arrange their own airfare to Toronto, visa (if required) and medical insurance.
