Algonquin Park 3 Hour Guided Cross Country Ski Tour
When:
11am-2pm Daily, as a private tour only, from January - March. Reservations are required. Please note that limited snow conditions will result in a guided hike. Where: Registered participants will meet our guide at Algonquin Park's west gate birch bark sign and then proceed together to our tour access point in the park. Price: (in Canadian dollars) $299 for up to three participants, plus 13% tax. $99 for each additional participant (up to 8 total). Lunch is included. Skis, poles and boots can be rented locally for about $30 + 13% tax/pp. For groups larger than 8, please contact us for pricing. Age 10+ This 3 hour winter adventure is the perfect introduction to Nordic skiing. After a brief orientation from your guide, we'll head out to explore the pristine beauty and inspiring solitude of Algonquin Provincial Park. Learn about local ecology, natural history, and wilderness skills! A warm beverage and gourmet lunch, from Henrietta's Pine Bakery, are included. This tour is usually guided by, Stuart Lorne Letovsky, the company founder. Beginner only. |
